Cherry Blossoms in Korea

It’s full of cherry blossoms in Korea. Arthur, I was very impressed when you sent me a photograph of a cherry blossoms on a busy street and said this was grandpa and grandma’s first spring. I thought “Oh, my! My grandson has become a grown up.” I drew this imagining the cherry blossoms at night. But, I’m not sure if I drew if so well.

한국은 벚꽃놀이가 한창이다. 알뚤, 네가 벚꽃이 피어 있는 큰 거리의 사진을 보내주며 하지 하니의 첫 봄이지 않느냐고 했을 때, ‘아이고! 우리 손자 다 컸구나.’ 감동했단다. 이 그림은 밤의 벚꽃을 상상한 것인데 글쎄, 잘 그렸는지 모르겠다. <참고> 할아버지=하지, 할머니 =하니

Na Coreia, a temporada das cerejeiras está em alta. Arthur, quando você me enviou a foto de uma rua com lindas flores de cerejeiras lembrando que esta era a nossa primeira primavera aqui na Coreia, pensei: "Nossa! Como o nosso neto cresceu!" Fiquei muito emocionado. Fiz este desenho imaginando as cerejeiras na noite, mas não sei se pintei bem.
